1. Introduction

Wisdom Cool Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AC and home appliance repair and service business led by founder Asraf Ali, serving customers in Madurai, Tirupur, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore and Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website, contact us or request a service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this website or sharing your details with us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit your details.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and carry out your service request.

• Details you give us. When you use the Enquiry form, call us or message us on WhatsApp, you may share your name, mobile number, email address (optional), the appliance or service you need, your district, your area or town, and a message describing the problem.
• Service details. The address or location where service is needed, the make, model and fault of your appliance, and any photos or videos of the appliance that you choose to send us.
• Communication records. Call logs on our phones and WhatsApp chats between you and us.
• Basic technical data. Like any website, the servers that deliver this site and its resources (see section 6) may receive your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

We do not ask for card numbers, bank details, passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar or other government ID numbers through this website, and you should not send them to us through the Enquiry form, WhatsApp or calls.

3. How Our Enquiry Form Works

This website has no database or mail server. When you fill in the Enquiry form and press Send Enquiry, your browser checks the fields and then opens WhatsApp on your device with a message already filled in with what you typed. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp. The details you type are not stored on this website.

Once you send that message, it arrives on our WhatsApp number (+91 78670 86777) and is handled as described in this policy. WhatsApp itself handles the message under its own terms and privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can simply call us instead.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry, call or message;
• understand your appliance problem, arrange a visit and confirm the date, time and location;
• carry out the repair or service and follow up with you about it;
• keep basic service records and handle any complaint or dispute;
• improve our services and this website; and
• meet our legal obligations.

You have voluntarily given us your details to request a service, and that is the purpose we use them for. We will contact you about your enquiry or service, and we will not use your details for unrelated marketing unless you agree to it. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Our team. Technicians and staff who need your details to contact you and carry out your service.
• Service providers we rely on. For example WhatsApp (Meta), telecom operators that carry calls and messages, and the providers that host and deliver this website.
• Legal and safety reasons. Where the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or where it is needed to protect rights, safety or property.
• Business changes. If Wisdom Cool Tech is reorganised, transferred or sold, your information may pass to the new owner, who must continue to protect it.

6. Third-Party Services on This Website

This website loads some resources from third parties. When you open a page, your browser connects to their servers, and they may receive your IP address and browser details:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) for the typefaces used on the site.
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), a content delivery network that serves the Bootstrap styling, scripts and icons used on the site.
• WhatsApp (wa.me). When you tap a WhatsApp button or send an enquiry, you leave this website and WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
• Phone links. Tapping a Call Now button opens your phone’s dialer. The call is handled by your device and network operator.

These providers have their own privacy policies and we do not control how they handle information. This website may also link to other sites; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not use analytics tools. Third-party services mentioned in section 6 (for example WhatsApp, when you open it) may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

If we add analytics or similar tools in future, we will update this section first.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep enquiry details and service records only for as long as needed to respond to you, complete and follow up on your service, handle complaints or disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them.

WhatsApp chats and call logs stay on our own devices until we delete them. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time (see section 10).

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as limiting access to the people who need it and keeping our devices and accounts secured. Because form submissions are not stored on this website, the main copies of your details are the WhatsApp messages and call records on our own devices.

No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please never share passwords, OTPs or bank or card details with us.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and why;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
• withdraw your consent to our use of your information. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it, and it may mean we can no longer continue with a service request; and
• raise a concern or complaint about how we have handled your information.

To do any of this, call or message us using the details in section 13. We may first ask you to confirm your identity, for example by messaging from the same mobile number you used to contact us. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to approach the appropriate authority under applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

This website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated policy.
